Part 1

Part 1 的過程大約 4~5 分鐘,以問答的形式進行,考官會問你大約 12 道簡短的題目,話題通常會圍繞你本身、你的生活和你的國家等三個主題。

Question

Are clothes important to you?

Answer

  1. Yes, they are.

    是的,很重要。

  2. Yes, I usually pay quite a lot of attention to what I wear. I prefer simple and comfortable clothes, and I think what we wear can say something about our personality. I don't really care about brands, though.

    是的,我通常很注重自己的穿著。我喜歡簡單舒適的衣服,我覺得穿衣打扮能反映出我們的個性。不過,我不太在意品牌。

  3. Yes, I think clothes are important because they can show my personality and make me feel more confident. I usually prefer simple and comfortable clothes rather than fashionable ones. When I go to work, I try to dress neatly because I want to look professional. On weekends, I usually wear T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers because they are more comfortable. So, although I don't spend a lot of money on clothes, I still pay attention to what I wear.

建議

以上述三個回答比較,第二個回答的長度適中。

最好先回答問題,然後再補充一些內容。整體長度大約 2~3 句左右,有時候題會比較複雜,所以回答會長一點,但通常也不超過 5 句。

雅思口說 Part 2

Part 2 的總體長度大約 3 ~ 4 分鐘。在 Part 2,考生會被要求做一次演講。

考官會提供一張提示卡以及紙和筆,提示卡上面列著演講中必須包含的問題。考生有 1 分鐘的時間為演講構思,接著考生將進行 1 ~2 分鐘左右的演講。之後,考官會問 1 ~ 2 個總結性的問題。

Question

Describe a language you have learned.

You should say:

  • what it is . when you started learning
  • how you learned it
  • what was difficult about it
  • and why you decided to learn that language.

Answer

I’m going to describe Japanese, which is a language I have been learning for several years. I first started learning it when I was in university because I was interested in Japanese culture and wanted to be able to understand the language better.

At first, I learned Japanese mainly by taking classes. I studied basic grammar and vocabulary, and I also spent some time watching Japanese TV shows and listening to Japanese songs. Later, I started practicing more by myself, especially by reading short articles and trying to have simple conversations with other people. I think learning through different methods made the process more interesting.

The most difficult thing about Japanese was definitely the grammar. Some sentence structures are quite different from English and Chinese, so it took me a while to get used to them. I also found Japanese particles difficult because small words like は, が and を can change depending on the situation. Another challenge was remembering the different levels of politeness, since the way you speak depends on who you are talking to.

I decided to learn Japanese mainly because I enjoy Japanese culture and I have always liked visiting Japan. I thought learning the language would make traveling there more interesting because I could communicate with local people and understand signs and menus without always using a translation app. More importantly, I wanted to learn a language that I could continue using in my everyday life, so Japanese seemed like a good choice for me.

建議

雅思口說 Part 2 會給考生 1 分鐘準備時間,接著連續說 1~2 分鐘。建議考生要以要講滿 2 分鐘為目標。

一篇完整的演講不能只按照提示回答,還要補充一些原因、例子和個人感受。

比如,提示問「你什麼時候開始學新語言?」那回答的時候,除了開始的時間之外,也可以補充學習的動機等細節,這樣回答比較容易自然延伸到 2 分鐘。

雅思口說 Part 3

Part 3 的總體長度約 4 ~ 5 分鐘。考官在這個部分會以問答題的方式,向考生提出 5 ~ 6 個問題。

問題會圍繞著和 Part 2 相同,但更廣泛的主題,通常是世界問題或當今熱門的問題。

比如,Part 2 問你「學語言的經歷」,那 Part 3 的問題可能會與人際互動、競爭力、文化等話題有關。

Question

Why do people want to learn a new language?

Answer

I think there are several reasons why people want to learn a new language. First of all, it can be useful for work and education, especially if they want to study or work in another country. It can also make traveling easier because they can communicate with local people and understand the culture better. Besides that, some people simply learn a language because they are interested in foreign movies, music, or food. So, I think learning a new language is not only about communication, but also about having more opportunities and experiencing different cultures.

Part 1

在 Part 1 如果沒有聽清楚考官的問題,可以禮貌地請考官 重複一次,例如:

範例

Could you repeat that, please?

可以請您再說一次嗎?

除了這個提問之外,考官不能進一步替你解釋題目、換句話說,也不能解釋題目中的單字。如果只有一個單字不太熟,只要你根據自己理解的內容盡力回答就好。

雅思口說並不會直接評分你的「理解能力」,偶爾一次稍微離題其實不影響你的分數。不要因此打亂後面的答題節奏,順順的答完就好。

雅思口說 Part 2

Part 2 你不能提問!在這個部分,考官只會告訴你何時開始和停止作答。

考生拿到提示卡(Cue Card)後,要根據上面的主題和提示進行回答,不能要求考官更換題目,也不能請考官解釋提示卡上的內容。

如果真的遇到完全看不懂的題目,那考官也幫不了你,能做的就是盡量利用自己能理解的內容作答。

雅思口說 Part 3

在 Part 3 不要害怕提問,如果你不確定某個單字的意思,或是不太清楚考官想問的是什麼,可以禮貌地請考官說明。

你可以請考官解釋單字和問題。這樣做很有用,因為考官可能會用不同的方式重新表達問題,或換比較容易理解的說法,讓你更容易理解問題。另外,如果只是沒有聽清楚問題,和 Part 1 一樣,也可以請考官重複一次。

你可以這麼問:

範例

  • Could you explain that, please?

    可以請你解釋一下嗎?

  • What do you mean exactly?

    你具體是什麼意思?

  • Could you explain what ○○○ means, please?

    可以請你解釋一下 ○○○ 是什麼意思嗎?

  • What does ○○○ mean?
